John Foster is an 18-year-old Nashville recording artist from Addis, Louisiana. He is an avid student of country music; he enjoys learning the vast history of the genre, its notable figures, and the intricacies that make it so unique and lovable. ​

His style can be described as Neo-Traditional, influenced by musicians like George Strait, Merle Haggard, Keith Whitley, and Willie Nelson. ​John has enjoyed performing with many notable musicians, including Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider, Doug Stone, and Louisiana musicians Don Rich, Junior Lacrosse, Ryan Foret, and Floyd Brown. In 2022, he won the "traditional songwriter award" from Showtreff International in Germany for his song "Someone To Sing To".

John has deep passions other than country music; in 2024, John Foster graduated as Valedictorian of his class at Brusly High School. He is a devout Catholic Christian and incorporates his faith into all aspects of his life, including his music.​ His connection to music was solidified when he experienced the loss of two friends, Maggie Dunn and Caroline Gill, in December of 2022; he channeled his grief into a song titled "Tell That Angel I Love Her" which brought much-needed comfort to him and all members of his community.​
